Originally from a small town in Wisconsin, Tracy moved to the Gunnison Valley in December of 2013 after finishing an internship at Arches National Park in Moab, UT. An avid outdoorswoman, adventurer, and artist, she found quickly that this place could feel like home. The extensive outdoor recreation opportunities have provided more chances for stunning photography than she could’ve imagined, not to mention a town thrilled to support the arts. Never without her camera, and always seeking the most spectacular moments of light, dawn and dusk are when she feels the most inspired, whether to photograph, paint, or draw.
Tracy has also been working at Oh Be Joyful Gallery since she first moved to the valley, constantly being surrounded by amazingly talented artists that inspire her daily to grow as an artist herself. She finds joy in not only her own artwork, but in learning how best to represent all of the different artists and styles that the gallery has grown to include over the years.
