In an age where dozens of people queue up to summit the world’s most popular peaks, explorers and adventurers are looking for lesser-known places, pristine landscapes that can be experienced without the crowds.
Fortunately for Chris Miller, a committed artist and expert mountaineer in Crested Butte, the rugged backcountry of the West Elks and Maroon Bells offer jaw-dropping, mountainous, winter wonderlands to explore.
In seeking out these wild places, camera in tow, Chris transports the viewer through his images of magical worlds most humans will never see in person.
Indulge yourself in exploration photography at its best and take home a piece of fine art of the wilderness surrounding Crested Butte. It will remind you every day to get outside and live in the beauty, to push yourself to achieve more than you ever thought possible.
