Clive Tyler & Ralph Oberg Exhibition

Taos-based pastel artist Clive Tyler paints his refreshing take on traditional landscapes and wildlife. From a distance, you’ll feel as though you can walk into one of his paintings, each an inviting composition full of depth and realism. But come closer and you’ll find a whole other world of color, texture, and mark-making somehow unfolding the scene in front of you. It is this unexpected juxtaposition of life found in each piece that makes a Clive Tyler such a fantastic piece to add to your collection.

Colorado artist Ralph Oberg is known for his traditional and beautifully rendered works in oil – whether wildlife or landscape. A traveler and mountaineer at heart, his inspiration travels far and wide, from his backyard in the San Juan mountains of Colorado, up to the glaciers of Alaska, across the pond to France, and over to Nepal. It is this collection of scenes and experiences that have informed Ralph’s work for years. In each of Ralph’s paintings is an adventure, a story all its own.
