In Our Own Backyard – A Pack Trip Exhibition

Join us for In Our Own Backyard – an exhibition celebrating time spent in on a horse pack trip in the local wilderness in the summer of 2023 by seven of our gallery artists – Nicholas Reti, Ralph Oberg, Jim Wodark, Katie Dowling, Taylor Crisp, George Bumann, and Tracy Schwartz.

On the 5-day trip, the artists made paintings, drawings, sketches, carvings, and took photos, all in preparation for this exhibition one year later. With a variety of styles and preferences in subject matter, we can’t wait to see what each of these artists took from time spent in the wilderness with fellow artists, and the peace and solitude of nature in the high alpine springtime.
