Greetings!

Returning to Crested Butte to paint the summer scenes is master of the American Southwest genre, Jim Wodark.  This spectacular exhibition showcases his signature style that combines a story of landscape with the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains.  His moonlit nocturne paintings are coveted for his interpretation of the western landscape at night.   Stop by the gallery July 23rd for a free oil painting demonstration to learn more about his painting technique and inspiration.  Also, see his new plein air paintings created in the area from July 18 through the 31st.   Recent additions to his numerous awards, Wodark claimed the Best of Show award from the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association’s 2015 Annual Best of Plein Air competition and was awarded third place for Best Oil painting this year’s Plein Air Salon.
